My executive coaching and mentoring is focused on supporting personal and organisational transformation for excellence. My aim is to help clients achieve greater performance through increased self-awareness and self-motivation, and through increased clarity, commitment, energy and responsibility. My particular areas of expertise are connected to coaching people for decision-making, leadership, problem-solving, vision building, communication, listening skills and goal-setting. I have worked with clients in oil and gas, law, education, not-for-profit and faith group sectors in the UK, Australia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Turkey. I have completed the Advanced Personal Leadership Programme at Henley Business School, from whom I also have a Professional Certificate in Coaching. Much of my work is influenced by psychology and neuroscience, as well as philosophy, theology and that unpredictable thing called ‘life’. My coaching complies rigorously with National Occupations Standards. A typical programme of coaching will involve 6 to 9 monthly 1-hour sessions, following a free introductory session. The programme generally uses the GROW model, adapted to suit the client, and a variety of appropriate coaching tools from several schools of psychology and behavioural studies.
