I will support you through any kind of life change and help you step into your new life with confidence and courage. The life change may be your choice or it may be thrust upon you: divorce, redundancy, retirement, moving home, getting a promotion, becoming a single parent, leaving school or university, returning to work. … Or you may feel on the brink of taking a life-changing decision - perhaps you have a secret dream you'd like to fulfil - or maybe you would like to spend more of your time and energy on what matters most to you. I'd feel privileged to work with you as you do. As a certified professional Co-Active Coach, I can support you to stay true to your values; to rediscover your creative self; and to bring balance into your everyday life. I provide gentle challenge and a confidential space for you to explore what's important to you and for you to move forward into a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I usually call myself a Personal and Professional Development Coach (there's no option for this on Conslt!) because the coaching I offer is a blend of life coaching and professional/work coaching. Co-Active Coaching is an approach that is holistic and integrative and supports you in tapping your own resourcefulness and creativity. The training is rigorous, internationally recognised, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and regulated by the Code of Ethics. I hold a current DBS enhanced disclosure certificate to allow me to work with young people and I am an accredited CAPP Strengths Profile partner. Alongside coaching, I have worked for many years developing and writing learning and development programmes for professionals (nurses, teachers, social workers) so I have a sound understanding of the pedagogy of adult learning. I'm currently working on leadership programmes that are informed by positive psychology and the science of wellbeing.

The most useful of aspect of coaching has been Jane’s ability to uncomplicate the seemingly complicated. Her style is very direct but also understanding. Brilliant listener. The coaching has had an extremely positive impact. Jane encourages me to ask myself questions regarding important decisions and the importance of organising and ME time. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Jane’s services to friends and colleagues. She is a significant influence on my life, even if I don’t always show it.

It feels like you gave me a book and let me open it at any page…and then helped me to read it.

Jane has a lovely coaching style – she initially took time to understand my strengths and weaknesses, and she knew exactly when and how far to challenge me. She was able to transform my ramblings into eloquent, beautifully written summaries that reflected exactly what I was feeling/working towards. The actions she set me were pitched just right, so they didn’t feel like another task to complete, but added value to the coaching. I can’t recommend Jane highly enough – she has changed my life and how I approach it!
